Uttarkashi (Uttarakhand) [India], April 10 (ANI): Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the public meeting organised at Degree College Ground, Chinyalisaur, Uttarkashi.
Chief Minister Dhami on Tuesday welcomed everyone and said that the support of the public is going to go directly to the Prime Minister along with BJP candidate Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah. This election is historic. The reward for every moment that the Prime Minister has dedicated to the countrymen is to be given by making him the Prime Minister of the country for the third time.
"Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah has continuously served the region. Today everyone in the country is saying that Modi ji is going to become the Prime Minister again," he added.
The Chief Minister said that the people of Congress were recommending not to contest the elections this time because they are well aware of the decisions of the people. The people of the entire country have seen that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, India is emerging as a world power.
He further highlighted, "In 10 years, there has been rapid development in every field in India from infrastructure to science and technology. After the G-20 conference, the world has recognised the power of India. Modi ji has pledged to eradicate poverty and backwardness from the country. He has worked to take development to the last end. Every scheme implemented by the Prime Minister is dedicated to the poor, farmers, women, youth and employment."
"Today, many schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Kisan Samriddhi Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Har Ghar Jal, Jal Se Nal, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Drone Didi, Lakhpati Didi are being run," he emphasised.
He said that these schemes are the guarantees of Modi ji which is bringing prosperity to the lives of crores of poor people in the country.
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the central government has taken many historic decisions in the national interest. Article 370 has been abrogated in Jammu and Kashmir. CAA was implemented in the country. Triple Talaq was abolished. After a long wait, the construction work of the grand Ram temple has been done in Ayodhya.
"Taking women forward, the Nari Shakti Vandan Act was implemented. He said that the state government has taken many historic decisions to make Uttarakhand better. Fulfilling the promise made before the elections, the Uniform Civil Code Bill has been passed in the state. He said that on the one hand, we are implementing the Uniform Civil Code and on the other hand, the Congress talks about implementing and maintaining the rules of Muslim Personal Law in its manifesto," he added.
He said that the state government has taken strict action against the long-running cheating. By stopping the game of cheating mafia, the youth were given their rights and an anti-cheating law was implemented. Eligible, talented youth are passing government examinations without any bias. Along with this, the conversion law, and anti-riot law have been approved. Women are being given 30 per cent horizontal reservation in government jobs. Women of the state are working to employ others along with themselves. Poor families are being provided 3 free gas refills in a year.
The Chief Minister said that work is being done to increase air services. Roads are being constructed in the entire assembly constituency. Arch bridge is being constructed at a cost of more than 52 crores. The construction of buildings in the Polytechnic College is almost complete for 15 crores. Various development works are in progress at Mata Renuka Devi Temple in Gram Sabha Nag. Very soon, a ropeway is to be constructed from Janki Chatti to Yamunotri at a cost of more than 166 crores.
Lashing out at the Congress, the Chief Minister said, "Before 2014, new scams used to come out every day in the Congress government. In the last 10 years, Congress did not get the opportunity to come to power, nor did it get a chance to commit any scam. During the rule of Congress, there were terrorist attacks on the country. There was a terrorist attack on the Taj Hotel in Mumbai, but even then the Congress government did not take any major action against Pakistan and did not do anything in the form of retaliation. Today, the country has a determined Prime Minister in the form of Modi ji. Today, Pakistan is afraid of even taking the name of India. Remembering the surgical strike, the terrorists of Pakistan start trembling."
The Chief Minister said that Congress has always done the work of appeasement and vote bank politics. Congress never even talked about building the Ram temple. When the grand temple of Lord Ram was built in Ayodhya by the lotus hands of Modi ji, the people of Congress refused to go to the Praan Pratishtha programme. Congress is filled with frustration regarding Lord Ram. Due to their policy of appeasement, the people of Congress work to degrade Sanatan Dharma and culture. Due to an anti-women mentality, Congress did not give the ticket to even a single woman in Uttarakhand.
The Chief Minister said, "The Prime Minister has a special attachment with Uttarakhand. In the last 10 years, Modi ji has given a gift of about two lakh crores to Uttarakhand. Modi ji has supported Uttarakhand at every step. He said that now every Uttarakhandi will support respected Modi and will contribute to him becoming the Prime Minister of the country for the third time. He urged everyone to make BJP candidate Smt. Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah is victorious with a huge number of votes from the Tehri Lok Sabha constituency on 19 April." (ANI)
