India, Bangladesh have succeeded in enhancing areas of shared interest: President Mukherjee

New Delhi [India], Mar. 25 (ANI): Extending his greetings and felicitations to the government and people of the People's Republic of Bangladesh on the eve of their National Day, President Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday said India and Bangladesh have succeeded in enhancing and intensifying their co-operation in areas of their shared interest.

New Delhi [India], Mar. 25 (ANI): Extending his greetings and felicitations to the government and people of the People's Republic of Bangladesh on the eve of their National Day, President Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday said India and Bangladesh have succeeded in enhancing and intensifying their co-operation in areas of their shared interest. In a message to His Excellency Md. Abdul Hamid, the President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, President Mukherjee has said, "On behalf of the government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it is with immense pleasure that I extend warm greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency and the people of Bangladesh on the occasion of your National Day." The President said it is a matter of satisfaction that the close relations between India and Bangladesh have substantially expanded in recent years adding that their joint efforts would contribute to the realisation of the aspirations of their respective peoples. "Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Bangladesh," he added. (ANI)
