Important to be part of system for Punjab' welfare: Navjot Kaur Sidhu on joining Cong
Amritsar (Punjab) [India], Nov. 25 (ANI): Justifying her stand to join the Congress party, former BJP MLA from Amritsar (East) constituency Navjot Kaur Siddhu on Friday said that it is important to be a part of the system for being able to work for the welfare of Punjab, and added that the Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) lacked leadership and honesty. Navjot, told ANI, "I have been saying this that I don't want to be Vinoba Bhave to speak about the negative and positive things of system by staying outside. For the welfare of Punjab, it is important to become a part of the system," She further said that she expects that there will be an ideal situation post elections where 117 new representatives would come and a common minimum platform should be there where all work with honesty and run according to the policy. "The ideal situation was not available which I was expecting for Punjab. Then the second choice is where one chooses that there should be a platform, which gives Punjab a stable government and leadership. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) did not have that leadership and are not even honest. They did not even followed the conditions which they had kept earlier," Siddhu told ANI. Siddhu further said that she will visit all those places where the party wants her to visit. "My joining is on November 28 in All India Party office in Delhi and Captain Amrinder Singh and Asha Kumari will be there." she said. (ANI)
