If Pak continues to be in denial mode, it will be isolated in Heart of Asia too: BJP
New Delhi [India], Dec. 4 (ANI): After Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani held Pakistan responsible for cross-border terrorism and providing safe haven to extremists in Afghanistan, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday said Islamabad does not have much choice, except denying the reality, adding if they remain in the denial mode, it won't be too far when they will be isolated in the Heart of Asia as well. Talking to ANI, BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh said the Afghanistan President has very categorically exposed Pakistan in front of 14 countries, adding that this platform was used to tell Pakistan that there are Talibanis, who have confirmed the involvement of Pakistan in the terrorist activities in Afghanistan. "Now, I don't think Pakistan has much of a choice, but to come out of the denial. If they continue in the denial which they have in the past, like the SAARC they spend isolated now it won't be too far that in the Heart of Asia also they will be isolated. Because, terrorism is the key to the Heart of Asia," he added. Echoing similar sentiments, another BJP leader R.K. Singh said the problem that Pakistan is creating in India, for us in Kashmir, similarly they are creating for Afghanistan. "Like I said before, the problem that the Afghanistan is facing is Pakistan's creation. If Pakistan stops helping terrorist, then Afghanistan's problem will be solved. Pakistan gives shelter to Taliban, they fund them. How much ever Pakistan denies, the root cause of Afghanistan's problem is Pakistan," he said. "Taliban was born in Pakistan. It is Pakistan's well-thought strategy that they don't want a democratic government and any kind of development in Afghanistan. Pakistan wants to destabilise Afghanistan," he added. Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani on Sunday urged Islamabad as well as the international community to work mutually for bringing peace and stability in the region. He reiterated that Islamabad practices selective cleansing of terrorists as Kabul has often accused the Pakistani security forces of differentiating between "good Taliban" and "bad Taliban". "The military operations in Pakistan have brought a major, but selective displacement of Pakistani extremist networks and their allies in Afghanistan," said Ghani at the Heart of Asia conference in Amritsar, adding "Pakistan is in an undeclared war with Afghanistan".
