"I believe BJP will win seats in double digits": BJP candidate from Secunderabad G Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], April 19 (ANI): Union Minister and Telangana BJP Chief G Kishan Reddy filed his nomination for Lok Sabha elections as BJP candidate from Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency.
G Kishan Reddy said, "In Telangana, BJP has started its election campaign. PM Narendra Modi addressed 5 election rallies. BJP announced 17 candidates and started door-to-door campaigns. I believe the BJP will win seats in double digits here. The people want PM Narendra Modi to become the Prime Minister again. BRS will lose all its deposits. The role and contribution of the Congress party is not clear. The opposition has no candidate for the Prime Minister. There is no doubt that PM Modi will take the oath as the Prime Minister for the 3rd time in the second week of June."
On a video showing BJP candidate from Hyderabad, Madhavi Latha allegedly pretending to shoot an arrow at the mosque in Hyderabad during Ram Navami yatra, Reddy said that it should not be taken seriously.
He said, "It's a simple thing. She tries to say that in the service of Shri Ram, no one should take it seriously & negatively, it wasn't against someone. We are the party in power at the Centre, it's our responsibility to maintain peace and we are doing that."
He further added that in every phase of polls, the BJP will emerge as the winner.
The Lok Sabha election in the 17 parliamentary constituencies of Telangana will be held on May 17.
In the previous 2019 general election, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) won 9 seats. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured 4 seats. The Indian National Congress (INC) obtained 3 seats. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) won 1 seat. (ANI)
