Rayagada (Odisha) [India], July 15 (ANI): A software engineer from Hyderabad, who was spending his holiday in Odisha's Rayagada district, was allegedly attacked by unknown persons, who were savagely beating a cattle in the middle of the jungle.

Rayagada (Odisha) [India], July 15 (ANI): A software engineer from Hyderabad, who was spending his holiday in Odisha's Rayagada district, was allegedly attacked by unknown persons, who were savagely beating a cattle in the middle of the jungle. The incident took place at 4 p.m. yesterday in the evening when K.V. Kannan, a software engineer from Hyderabad, during sightseeing in Khedapoda village saw some men savagely beating the cow and was beaten up by them when he tried to capture the incident. Soon after being attacked, the relatives of the victim filed a complaint to the district collector and in turn were assured of strict action against the culprits. "Yesterday, I met them in the evening and they complained that they a saw a herd of cattle that were being transported in a brutal manner by around 20-25 people. When they tried to stop them they got agitated and misbehaved with one of the lady and hit one of the mail friends with a stick," District collector Guha Punam Tapas Kuma said. "They came to collector office requesting for a police escort in order to take them to safety," she added. She assured that the culprits would be nabbed soon and a strict action would be taken against them. (ANI)
