Hyderabad: Program organised to celebrate success of women entrepreneurs
Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], Mar. 6 (ANI): Diageo, in association with the British Council, on Monday celebrated the success of 'The Young Women Social Entrepreneurship Development Program' here. The program hosted panel discussions on women entrepreneurs. Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha, attended the program as Chief Guest and talked about policies and business opportunities for women in the state as well as the country. Ahead of the women's day, she said women, due to family commitments, start their career a bit late. Kavitha welcomed women entrepreneurs to come up with innovative business ideas. "Social Entrepreneurship is something which is very close to our heart as a culture but unfortunately we do not have specific policy to help, especially women to become social entrepreneurs. It should be addressed as soon as it can," Kavitha said. Besides, Kavitha, the other prominent woman who participated in the event was K. Ratna Prabha, IAS, Additional chief secretary, government of Karnataka. (ANI)
