Hyderabad: 11-year-old allegedly raped, case registered under POSCO Act
Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], May 8 (ANI): In a shocking incident, a 50-year old auto driver allegedly raped an 11-year-old girl near Kalapattar area here. As per the Kalapattar Police Station, the incident took place around eight days ago. The police have registered a case under section 376, 506, 3 and 4 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and under Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act. The minor girl has been sent for medical examination, after which necessary action would be taken against the culprits. The police are still investigating the matter, but the accused is absconding. (ANI)
