Kokrajhar (Assam) [India], April 28 (ANI): Addressing a public rally in Assam's Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency on Sunday, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that despite heavy rains the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and National Democratic Alliance (NDA) supporters are turning in large numbers to back their candidates while the opposition is in disarray.
Hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said, "Deeply humbled to witness the massive support for the respected PM."
Taking to social media platform X, he said, "Where once the sounds of guns and bombs were heard and it was impossible to go out at night, today there is a wave of peace and progress in the same place. This is the picture of changing India, this is PM Modi's guarantee."
