Bokaro (Jharkhand) [India], September 26 (ANI): Leader of Opposition in Jharkhand Legislative Assembly and BJP leader Amar Kumar Bauri hit out at Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren over his remark on RSS, where he labelled RSS workers as 'chooha' (rats), adding that the CM is not able to see Bangladeshi infiltrators in state.
On CM Hemant Soren's remark on RSS, Leader of Opposition & BJP leader Amar Kumar Bauri said, "It is a matter of regret that Chief Minister Hemant Soren is endangering the identity of his ancestors, descendants and tribal society for appeasement and vote bank politics. Hemant Soren is not able to see Bangladeshi infiltrators in the state but is banning RSS in the state. How low will you stoop due to vote bank politics? You must listen to the voice of your conscience."
This comes after Soren, while addressing a rally on September 25 in Jharkhand, said that the people of RSS will enter Jharkhand like 'chooha' (rats) and break our society.
Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren said, "Assam CM comes to Jharkhand and criticises the state's people and state government...We will give a befitting reply...They will talk about changing demography and Bangladeshi infiltrators. I would like to tell them to look at the data of the Government of India to determine how the numbers have changed in which district and which state. Go and see what the data is in Bengal. Then see the data of various districts in Jharkhand. You would find that there is no change in the demography here."
Earlier today, Shehzad Poonawalla attacked Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren over his remarks on RSS.
BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla said, "Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren calls nationalists and people elected by the public 'chooha'. But he doesn't say anything about the Bangladeshi infiltrators who enter Santhal Pargana and encroach on land, because this pertains to his vote bank."
Poonawalla further said, "He said that no demographic change has occurred in Jharkhand, it has happened in West Bengal. Who has had governments in West Bengal? Not BJP. Left, followed by the TMC. So, he has accepted that there has been a demographic change in West Bengal, which was ruled by the Left as well as Mamata Banerjee."
Reacting to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren's statement, Congress MP Pramod Tiwari said, "A Chief Minister will have his own experience for the state, I don't know in what context he said this but he did not name anyone. He did not say anything to the organisation...only he can tell what he meant. I can only say that the way the Chief Minister was sent to jail, the way he was cornered, the way an attempt was made to weaken the organisation there, it is only the modus operandi of the RSS."
