"Hatasha, Nirasha aur Jhoot ka Prachar": BJP hits back after AAP alleges attack on Kejriwal

New Delhi [India], October 26 (ANI): Hitting back at the Aam Aadmi Party over its allegation that former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was attacked during foot march by "BJP goons", the Bharatiya Janata Party said the AAP national convenor plays the victim when questioned by people.

In a self-made video, BJP Delhi Chief Virendraa Sachdeva said that AAP has only three weapons, “Hatasha, Nirasha aur Jhoot ka Prachar"

“Today in Vikaspuri, people had gone to Arvind Kejriwal with the complaint of poor quality of drinking water. They asked him and his MLA to drink that water. Arvind Kejriwal was rattled at the request. He (Kejriwal) is no longer used to leaving the 'Sheesh Mahal' and walking on the streets. When people ask him questions, he calls it attacks by the BJP. Kejriwal, you have looted Delhi in the name of electricity, water and roads and the public is asking you questions. His MLAs are looting the people of Delhi,” he said.

“AAP ke teen hi hathyar hai- hatasha, nirasha aur Jhut ka prachar,” the BJP Delhi Chief said.

BJP MP from West Delhi, Kamaljeet Sehrawat also slammed Kejriwal and accused him of making "false allegations" when questioned by the people.

“When the people of Vikaspuri Assembly, troubled by the corruption of Aam Aadmi Party, questioned Arvind Kejriwal and his MLA, instead of answering, they ran away from there by making false allegations. Due to the corruption of the Aam Aadmi Party, the people of Delhi are crying for help. The people of Delhi are fed up with dirty water, broken roads, air pollution and the poor sanitation system, so they are coming out on the streets to protest against Kejriwal,” Sehrawat said.

“And yes Atishi ji, for the last 10 years you have been cheating the people of Delhi by telling lies. That formula is not going to work now. The people whom you are calling BJP goons are the ones who brought Kejriwal to power. But the people of Delhi are not going to be fooled anymore...because your false promises have been exposed,” the BJP MP said.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday alleged that former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was attacked during a rally in the national capital by the "goons" of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Posting a purported picture from the site of the incident, AAP alleged that the man who attacked Kejriwal is associated with the BJP.

"The man who attacked Arvind Kejriwal today is a BJP goon," AAP stated.

Delhi Chief Minister Atishi alleged that the Delhi Police didn't take any action against the miscreants who attacked the AAP chief, while further claiming that the former Delhi CM could have "lost his life" in the attack

"Today during the padayatra, some BJP workers raised slogans against Arvind Kejriwal and attacked him. Anything could have happened to him in this attack. If they had weapons, Arvind Kejriwal could have also lost his life. This attack has clearly been carried out by the BJP because BJP workers had attacked Arvind Kejriwal earlier as well. Till date, Delhi police has not taken any action against those who had attacked Arvind Kejriwal," CM Atishi said. (ANI)
