Gurugram (Haryana) [India], September 29 (ANI): Attacking the Congress party in Haryana, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said the state was plagued by scams, murders, corruption, land scams, hooliganism and the rule of dealers under the Congress rule.
The Chief Minister participated in a public meeting organised in favour of BJP candidate Mukesh Sharma in Haryana's Gurugram.
He further added that the Bharatiya Janata Party's double-engine government has strengthened the law and order in Haryana in the last 10 years and brought transparency in the state.
"Haryana was plagued by scams, murder of daughters, corruption, land scams, hooliganism and the rule of dealers. The double-engine government has strengthened the law and order in Haryana in the last 10 years, transparency has come in the state. The Congress candidate claims that if his government is formed in Haryana, he will first give jobs to his family members," he said while participating in a public meeting organised in favour of BJP candidate Mukesh Sharma in Haryana's Gurugram.
CM Dhami said that in the last few years, work has been done to connect every district of Haryana with national highways and the railway budget in Haryana has been increased 10 times, while adding that the work of expanding the metro is going on in Gurugram.
He said that on one hand, our Prime Minister wants to take Haryana forward in every field, and on the other hand Congress wants to push Haryana into the quagmire of corruption. Corruption is in every nook and cranny of the Congress party. He said that everyone has to take the pledge to form a BJP government in Haryana again.
The Chief Minister said that in all the states where Congress is in power, they have emptied the government Treasury. Congress is not worried about the soldiers but about grabbing power. Greedy, opportunist, corrupt and nepotistic party Congress has to be uprooted from Haryana. Congress has neither policy nor intention to solve the problems of Haryana.
Hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the CM said, "PM Modi has a special attachment to the state of Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand resides in his heart. On every occasion, he works to take the state of Uttarakhand forward. He said that even today in the Mann Ki Baat programme, the Prime Minister mentioned Uttarakashi district. The number of pilgrims is continuously increasing in the Char Dham Yatra."
"The Prime Minister described every border village of the country from Mana village as the first village of the country. Prime Minister Modi is the first Prime Minister of the country to come to Adi Kailash. The construction of All Weather Road in Uttarakhand has made the Char Dham Yatra easy and simple. One can reach Dehradun from Delhi in just 2 hours from the Delhi-Dehradun elevated road," he added.
"All-round development is taking place in Uttarakhand under the leadership of the Prime Minister. Development of tourist places, expansion of airports, and many other works have been done. He said that BJP candidate Mukesh Sharma has been continuously serving the public. Every vote cast for the lotus will change the fate and picture of Haryana," said Dhami, urging the public to vote in favour of the BJP in the polls.
Haryana goes to the polls on October 5 to elect a 90-member state legislative assembly to form its next government, with the counting set to take place on October 8. In 2019, the BJP emerged as the single-largest party with 40 seats. Congress won 30 seats. (ANI)
