"Gujarat saw multifaceted development because of PM Modi's leadership": State Health Minister Rushikesh Patel

Appreciating Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gujarat Health Minister Rushikesh Patel on Sunday said that the state of Gujarat witnessed multifaceted development because of his leadership and commitment. He further announced that 'Vikas Saptah' (development week) will be celebrated in the state from October 7-15 as Narendra Modi was appointed as the Chief Minister of the state on October 7, 2001.

Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India], October 6 (ANI): Appreciating Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gujarat Health Minister Rushikesh Patel on Sunday said that the state of Gujarat witnessed multifaceted development because of his leadership and commitment. He further announced that 'Vikas Saptah' (development week) will be celebrated in the state from October 7-15 as Narendra Modi was appointed as the Chief Minister of the state on October 7, 2001.
"Respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi became the Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001. He served Gujarat till 2014 and now is serving the nation as the Prime Minister. Gujarat is fortunate to have his constant leadership since 2001. Gujarat is extremely thankful to him. Because of him, Gujarat has shown an example of development to the country. When he was the CM of Gujarat, our state made a distinct name in the country and now when he is the Prime Minister of the country, India has made a distinct place in the world," said Patel.
"The state of Gujarat has been witnessing multifaceted development because of his 23-year leadership and help provided even after becoming the PM of the country. Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel and the state cabinet have decided that we will celebrate Vikas Saptak from October 7-15 and will involve people at a very large scale in this Andolan," he added further.
Earlier on Saturday, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel stated that the state government has established a system to deliver the benefits of various schemes and services directly to citizens' doorsteps, leaving no room for complaints.
Addressing the RTI Week Celebrations Launch event, the Chief Minister highlighted PM Modi's vision of creating a system where citizens can access government schemes from the comfort of their homes.
As part of this initiative, the government is striving for 100 per cent saturation, ensuring that every citizen benefits from these schemes. He emphasized the importance of citizens having a clear understanding of the rules and procedures regarding how they will receive their entitled benefits. (ANI)
