Mumbai (Maharashtra), Aug 2 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday vouched for the passage of the Goods and Services Tax Bill and said that the tax reform will act like as a catalyst in the development process of the nation. Asserting that GST will help India's economy strengthen, the BJP said that the economic bill will bring revolution in the tax system of our nation. "All political parties should support the GST Bill as it will act as a catalyst in the development process of the nation. GST will bring a revolutionary change in the Tax system of our nation. And the soon we pass this bill it will be good for the economy of the nation," said BJP leader Prem Shukla. With the Central Government likely to introduce the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Bill in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, most of the political parties have virtually given their consent to it, though with riders.(ANI)
