New Delhi [India], Nov. 26 (ANI): The Government will today launch a nationwide campaign to open bank accounts for workers today, both in organised and unorganised sectors.

Govt to launch campaign to open bank accounts today
New Delhi [India], Nov. 26 (ANI): The Government will today launch a nationwide campaign to open bank accounts for workers today, both in organised and unorganised sectors. Special camps will be organised in every district at specific locations from today to facilitate people to open their bank accounts. Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatraya said it has been decided to pursue this path of digital transactions more vigorously than ever before. He further asserted that communication has already been sent to all the states in this respect requesting their active co-operation. Dattatraya sought the co-operation of all establishments, employers, employees associations and others to ensure that the needy workers access these camps and avail the services. The campaign will continue for a few days through the concerned banks, their business correspondents and camps as required. (ANI)
