Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], July 23 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday stated that the government has taken strict action against well-planned land jihad in the state and freed more than seven thousand acres of government land from "land jihadis."
The Chief Minister said, "The 'land jihad' mafia was occupying precious government lands in the state by wearing green, blue or yellow cloth without any fear. We have taken strict action against this well-planned land Jihad in the state and freed more than seven thousand acres of government land from land jihadis."
"Along with this, more than 200 illegal madrasas have been sealed and more than 500 illegal structures have also been removed. Our government is also taking strict action against the elements conspiring to defame Sanatan Dharma. Through 'Operation Kalanemi', those hypocrites and heretics are being arrested who mislead people and hurt the dignity of religion. We will not tolerate such intruders in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand under any circumstances, and will not rest until these people are sent back to where they came from," the Chief Minister said.
CM Dhami released the republished edition of the book on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh "Philosophy and Action of RSS for Hind Swaraj" in a program organized at IRDT Auditorium Dehradun.
On this occasion, Sarkaryavah of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Dattatreya Hosabale, and nationalist thinker and convener of 'Pragya Pravah' Vishisht Ideological Forum, J Nandkumar were also present.
Addressing the program, CM Dhami said that the book "Philosophy and Action of RSS for Hind Swaraj", written by Catholic priest Father Anthony in the year 1951, not only presented an in-depth study of the ideology, organizational structure and functioning of the Sangh, but also worked to explain the basic spirit of "Hind Swaraj" in an integrated manner.
The Chief Minister said that he is confident that this book will prove to be helpful in connecting our future generations with our ideological tradition and working style by introducing them to the initial struggles, sacrifice, and penance of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
The Chief Minister also said that Father Anthony wrote this book at a time when many kinds of misconceptions and wrong beliefs were being spread in the society about the "Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh."
"In that challenging period, Father Anthony wrote with fairness and honesty that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is not a communal organisation but a disciplined and spiritually conscious organisation dedicated to nation building. He closely observed discipline, service, dedication and patriotism in the lives of the Sangh workers and made the world aware that this organisation is the real foundation stone of India's reconstruction," he emphasised.
CM Dhami stated that Father Anthony wrote that the Sangh is not only working towards restoring the lost prestige of Hinduism but is also engaged in the task of uniting the entire India by ending the evil practices prevalent in the society.
The Chief Minister said that when the first Sarsanghchalak, the most revered Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar ji founded the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in the year 1925, India was not only politically subjugated but was also mentally, culturally, and religiously fragmented. Today, through its hundred years of ascetic journey, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has brought such a divine stream of cultural renaissance, social harmony, self-esteem, and patriotic service in India, which has lit the eternal flame of national consciousness in every corner of the country.
He further said that the India that was once suffering from the mentality of slaves today is proud of its cultural values, its traditions, and its scientific outlook; this self-esteem is the result of the penance of the Sangh.
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has entered the Amritkaal of the renaissance of its cultural consciousness. "Our glorious history and cultural heritage, which were neglected for years, are not only being restored today but are also being made the basis of national consciousness. Today, the flag of our Sanatan culture is flying proudly all over the world and India is rapidly moving towards becoming the world leader again by connecting with its roots. The way our religious heritage is being preserved and nurtured is neither past nor future," he said, highlighting India's history and cultural heritage.
CM Dhami also said that under the strong leadership of Modi ji, on one hand, the concept of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat' is being realized through laws like abolition of Article 370 from Kashmir, the end of the evil practice of triple talaq, Citizenship Amendment and Waqf Amendment. 'At the same time, to fulfill the resolution of Antyodaya, work is also being done to connect the person standing in the last row to the mainstream of development through public welfare schemes like Jan-Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and the Free Ration Scheme,' he added.
He added that under the guidance of the Prime Minister, the Uttarakhand government is also continuously working with its "optionless resolve" for the preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage of the state. (ANI)
