Goddess Kali's skills leave people enthralled in Allahabad

CEC Gyanesh Kumar on Tuesday offered prayers at the Dakshineshwar Kali temple in West Bengal and affirmed the ECI's commitment to holding "non-violent, and non-pressurised" polls in the state.

"What has been seen in these last 15 years is that there is no law and order here. No industry has come, and the Rohingyas and Muslims from Bangladesh have just come here and made them voters here... These people never follow the Constitution. These people have sent their people to show the black flag there," Saha told ANI.

Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers on Tuesday gathered in front of the Dakshineshwar Kali temple gate holding black flags ahead of the visit of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar.

Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, while speaking to the reporter, said, "My greetings to all the brothers and sisters of West Bengal. May Goddess Kali bless everyone. Jai Bharat, Jai Hind."

In an emotional and strongly worded statement, Brahmachari Ashutosh Maharaj alleged that he and his followers are facing serious threats after the Allahabad High Court granted interim relief to Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati in a POCSO-related case.
