New Delhi [India], February 1 (ANI): Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday hit out at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), saying that the people of Delhi will wipe out the ruling party in the national capital on election result day.
Labelling the AAP government in Delhi as "3G sakraar", Shah said, "Government running in Delhi is 3G - 'Ghotale wali Sarkar', 'Ghuspaithiyon ko panah dene wali Sarkar' and 'Ghaple karne wali Sarkar'."
He said that there was a huge wave against the AAP in Delhi.
Referring to AAP leader Manish Sisodia contesting on a different seat, Shah said that AAP was aware of their impending loss. Of 52 AAP MLAs, nearly 26 MLAs who were not given tickets also believed that they were losing the elections, he added.
"I came to Mustafabad after seeing a huge wave against Aam Aadmi Party in the entire Delhi. Aath tareekh ko Dilli wale AAP ko jhaadu lagakar (AAP will be wiped out by the people of Delhi on the February 8). They also know that they are going to lose. Manish Sisodia changed his seat. 26 out of 52 AAP MLAs were not given tickets, they also know the party is losing in Delhi," Shah said while addressing a rally in Sonia Vihar.
Taking a dig at AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal over the pollution in Yamuna, the Union Home Minister said that BJP members made the cut out of Kejriwal take a dip in Yamuna, after which it has to admitted to AIIMS given the pollution in the river.
"Arvind Kejriwal said he will clean River Yamuna, Chhath Pooja will be done well and he will take a dip in the river, but he didn't. BJP people made the cut out of Kejriwal take a dip in the Yamuna, after which it had to be admitted to AIIMS given the pollution in Yamuna. He is making excuses that the Haryana government is mixing poison in the river... We will make Delhi pollution-free and fulfil the promise of making Sports University," Shah said.
Moreover, Shah further claimed that the AAP government in Delhi committed scams worth thousands of crores, including liquor scam, Jal Board scams, ration distribution scam and others.
"Arvind Kejriwal made a bungalow of 50,000 yards with luxurious amenities... Not only Sheesh Mahal worth Rs 51 crore was made, but also scams worth thousands of crores were done - liquor scam, Jal Board scam worth Rs 28,000 crores, Ration distribution scam worth Rs 5600 crores, DTC bus scam worth Rs 4500 crores, Classroom scam worth Rs 1300 crores, scam worth Rs 500 crores of panic button in buses, CCTV scam worth Rs 571 crores," Shah further said.
