Gaya road rage case: Parents question basis for granting bail to Rocky Yadav
Gaya(Bihar)[India], Oct. 20(ANI): A day after the Patna High Court granted bail to Rocky Yadav, the son of a suspended JD(U) MLC, in a case of killing Aditya Sachdeva in Gaya, the victim's parents on Thursday said it is a very bad day for Bihar and also questioned the basis for granting bail. "It is a very bad day for Bihar that a criminal got bail as this is very shocking news for the entire nation. In this case, everything was clear, yet he got bail and how he got it is a matter of investigation," late Aditya's father Shyam Sundar Sachdeva said. Expressing dissatisfaction over the judgment, Sachdeva said despite of having all evidences, we were denied justice, adding that "money and power has again silenced the truth." "I hope the government will fight for us," the father added "We need answers, high court gave decision in his (Rocky Yadav) favour without even opening the case," said Aditya's mother Chand Sachdeva said. "It is all about getting justice and the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar promised us that we would get justice. I hope the government will fight for us," Sachdeva told ANI. In the Gaya road rage case, accused Rocky Yadav, son of former JD(U) MLC Manorama Devi and gangster Bindi Yadav, had gunned down 16-year-old Aditya Sachdeva who had allegedly overtaken Rocky's SUV while he was coming back home from a birthday party. When Aditya and his friends had overtaken Rocky's SUV, an angry Rocky chased them and then gunned down Aditya. After the incident, Rocky had gone on the run. Few days after the gruesome killing, Rocky was arrested by the Gaya police from a factory owned by Rocky's father Bindi Yadav. Rocky was granted bail by the Chief Justice Iqbal Ahmend Ansari today evening. With the news of Rocky getting bail, the family members of Aditya Sachdeva are in a state of shock. In this high profile road rage case, Rocky Yadav's mother Manorama Devi and gangster father Bindi Yadav were also arrested, but were also released on bail earlier. (ANI)
