Amritsar (Punjab) [India], June 1 (ANI): BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Saturday took a veiled jibe at Congress and the Gandhi family for criticising PM Modi for meditating at Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanniyakumari and said that the people for whom Italy is the best will not know India's culture.
"Those who are raising questions about OM meditating at Vivekananda Rock Memorial - it is unfortunate. They think West is Best. But Swami Vivekananda had said in Chicago that India is the best. He waved the flag of India's culture across the world. Those who spend their vacation at nightclubs and pubs, for whom Italy is the best will not know India's culture. They will not know the contribution of Swami Vivekananda. We are proud that PM Modi is meditating at Vivekananda Rock Memorial," the BJP leader said.

Chugh further urged everyone to come out and vote in large numbers
"Exercising one's franchise is very important. There should be a strong government in the country for the next 5 years, and a decisive and dynamic leader should lead us. So, every voter should vote...I urge everyone to vote," he said.
Tarun Chugh along with his family members cast their vote at a polling booth in Amritsar. They also showed the indelible ink mark on their fingers after voting.
