Foggy woes: Holidayers in agony as train, flight services down

New Delhi [India], Dec. 12 (ANI): More than 82 trains were delayed and 16 were cancelled due to dense fog in various places of north India today. According to Northern Railways, 23 trains were rescheduled as the visibility reduced to less than 400 metres.

New Delhi [India], Dec. 12 (ANI): More than 82 trains were delayed and 16 were cancelled due to dense fog in various places of north India today. According to Northern Railways, 23 trains were rescheduled as the visibility reduced to less than 400 metres. A thick blanket of fog engulfed the national capital and the surrounding areas, resulting in a significant decrease in visibility levels. Meanwhile, four international flights were delayed due to dense fog at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. However, oifficials described visibility as manageable and said there was no major affect on flight operations because of the weather conditions. Meterological Department has predicted clear skies during the day. (ANI)
