Five injured as jet blast from Spicejet shatters IndiGo coach window

New Delhi [India], July 8 (ANI): A Spicejet aircraft mistakenly impinged a parked IndiGo bus for ferrying passengers on Friday evening at Delhi airport. Five passengers have received minor injuries in the accident.

New Delhi [India], July 8 (ANI): A Spicejet aircraft mistakenly impinged a parked IndiGo bus for ferrying passengers on Friday evening at Delhi airport. Five passengers have received minor injuries in the accident. At around 4.50 pm a Spicejet SG-253 arrived at the airport and was taking a turn to park the aircraft, at the allocated bay which is when the jet blast from the aircraft broke the right front window glass of IndiGo Coach number 34. The IndiGo aircraft was parked at Bay 17 and was boarding passengers on the flight 6E-191 en-route Delhi to Mumbai. Five IndiGo passengers seated on the coach received minor injuries, to which IndiGo said in a statement, "Our ground staff immediately alerted airport staff and took them to the airport clinic where they were given all the medical assistance." They said that the flight departed from Delhi after ensuring all passengers had been given assistance. "We have voluntarily informed the authorities. This matter is being investigated by IndiGo safety department and the regulator," IndiGo added.(ANI)
