New Delhi [India], October 13 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party MP Praveen Khandelwal on Sunday slammed Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi for politicizing the killing of NCP leader Baba Siddique who was shot dead in Mumbai.
Speaking to ANI, Khandelwal said "Finding politics in such a situation is very unfortunate and this isn't expected from him. When it's about Rahul Gandhi, he and other people look for politics in such incidents as well. When Rahul Gandhi is asking questions about the law and order situation, he should look into the situation of law and order in the states where his party was in power. Finding politics in such a situation is very unfortunate and this isn't expected from him."
"Whatever happened with Baba Siddiqui is very unfortunate and it is very sad. This is a question on the safety of the people too. However, the state government immediately sprung into action, and some accused were also arrested. Nobody can show more promptness than this," he said.

BJP leader RP Singh also commented over the killing of Baba Siddique, saying that, "The death of Baba Siddique is a rather unfortunate incident. The Mumbai Police is a very strong one and they should carry a strict investigation on the people who are involved in the murder. Rahul Gandhi can do politics in his area, but here the police is working on the investigation in this case. We shouldn't connect the case with the elections," Singh said.
Meanwhile, the mortal remains of Baba Siddique were brought to his residence in Bandra.(ANI)
