Agartala (Tripura) [India], March 25 (ANI): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha attended the Street Corner meeting under the 6-Agartala Mandal as a part of the campaign for the Lok Sabhha polls and said that enthusiasm of the karyakartas will pave the way to victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party .

Saha, while addressing an organisational meeting held in support of Biplab Kumar Deb, candidate for the West Tripura Lok Sabha seat, said, "This enthusiasm of the karyakartas will undoubtedly pave the way to victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party."

He further added that to continue this flow of development, everyone is saying, 'We want the Modi government again."
Hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that due to him, the state has witnessed significant development.
"Opposition political parties have always questioned where HIRA is. They must not have been aware of its definition. Due to the HIRA model, we have the 3rd strongest internet connection, railways have improved a lot, and more highways are coming. Our government, which is a double-engine government, is always committed to overall development," the CM took a jibe at opponents.
Lashing out further, CM Saha said, "A section of people have suggested using scientific rigging for victory in the election, which was introduced by CPIM, or else the BJP will lose the election. But in the end, the BJP formed the government again. They said they would form the government, but they lost somewhere."
Notably, for the 2024 elections, the BJP has named former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb as the candidate from the West Tripura district.
Earlier, the President of the Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee announced that major opposition parties, including CPIM, Congress, Gana Manch, All Tripura Peoples Party, CPI, and CPIML, had formed an alliance under the banner of the INDIA bloc.
This alliance aims to challenge the BJP government in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
The 2024 general elections in Tripura will be held in two phases, on April 19 and April 26, to elect the two members of the 18th Lok Sabha. (ANI)
