Jalaun (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Sept. 30 (ANI): A drunken man recently created a ruckus in Uttar Pradesh's Jalaun district by risking his life after climbing atop a 11,000 watt electric tower. The drunkard, identified as Bukkey, was staging a protest against a recent ban on the sale of country-made liquor and raised slogans against the same. He was noticed by local residents who informed the police immediately. Fortunately for the man, there had been a power cut in the area when he climbed the high-tension pole. He was brought down by power department and police personnel after an hour-long drama. The rescuers had to pull the drunkard down to the ladder and eventually carry him as he refused to cooperate. Police arrested the drunkard soon after. (ANI)
