New Delhi [India], July 7 (ANI): A day after Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Jayant Sinha, drew flak for garlanding eight men convicted for killing a meat trader, his father, Yashwant Sinha, expressed his disapproval on his son's action.
"Earlier, I was the Nalayak Baap of a Layak Beta. Now the roles are reversed. That is twitter. I do not approve of my son's action. But I know even this will lead to further abuse. You can never win," he tweeted.

For those unversed, a Ramgarh Court had sentenced 11 people to a lifetime in prison for their involvement in the murder of a meat trader in Jharkhand last year.
However, a picture went viral on social media on Friday, in which Jayant Sinha was seen felicitating eight men convicted in the aforementioned case.
Earlier in the day, he stated that irresponsible statements were being made about his actions.
"I have full faith in our judiciary and rule of law. Unfortunately, irresponsible statements are being made about my actions when all that I am doing is honoring due process of law. Those that are innocent will be spared and guilty will be appropriately punished," he tweeted.

In another tweet, Jayant Sinha clarified that the Ranchi High Court had suspended the sentence of the accused and released them on bail.
"In the Ramgarh case (mob lynching), the Ranchi High Court, which is the first court of appeal, has suspended the sentence of the accused and released them on bail while admitting their case. The case will once again be re-heard."
