New Delhi [India], May 18 (ANI): BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla asked Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal whether his former personal secretary Bibhav Kumar knew any of his secrets that he was not able to speak about and was shielding him.
Shehzad Poonawalla said, "Instead of 'emotional atyachar', you should have given clear answers for clear questions. Why are you shielding Bibhav Kumar? When Sanjay Singh did press conference, he said that Bibhav Kumar misbehaved with the woman MP. Was that correct or was the U-turn you took after 72 hours correct? Which version is correct? Why are you scared, Arvind Kejriwal? Why are you silent? Does Bibhav Kumar know any of your secrets that you are not able to speak on this and shielding him? AAP has become 'anti-aurat' party."
He further alleged that Arvind Kejriwal was protecting Bibhav Kumar, and leader of the INDIA bloc are silent and not clarifying their stand on victim shaming.
He further said, "The way Arvind Kejriwal was protecting Bibhav Kumar and leaders of INDIA bloc are silent and not clarifying their stand on victim shaming, is it still their internal matter? At least Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said that their should be action on this misbehaviour. Is he also BJP agent. Rahul Gandhi has also denied the stage to Arvind Kejriwal. He is campaigning alone. Is he also agent of the BJP?"
He further asked that when an AAP leader is assaulted inside AAP leader's house by the AAP leader and confirmed by the AAP leader, and then AAP leader gives statement to the police, then how can they blame someone else.
Earlier, CM Kejriwal on Saturday said that he along with senior AAP leaders, will be present at the Bharatiya Janata Party headquarters on Sunday noon.
After Kejriwal's former aide, Bibhav Kumar was detained by the Delhi Police in the assault case of AAP MP Swati Maliwal, Kejriwal said that Prime Minister Modi is playing 'Jail ka Khel' with the Aam Aadmi Party.
"You can see how they (BJP) are after AAP. One after another, they are putting AAP leaders behind bars. They put me, Manish Sisodia, Satyendra Jain, and Sanjay Singh behind bars. Today they put my PA in jail. Now they are saying they will put Raghav Chadha, Atishi, and Saurabh Bharadwaj in jail. Maybe our fault is that we built schools and mohalla clinics, we provided free electricity, but they are unable to do it. I would like to tell the Prime Minister - you are playing this 'jail ka khel'. Tomorrow, I am coming to the BJP headquarters with all my top leaders, MLAs, and MPs at 12 noon. You can put in jail whoever you want," Arvind Kejriwal said.
MP Swati Maliwal in her complaint has alleged that Kejriwal's Personal Secretary Bibhav Kumar "slapped" her "atleast seven to eight times" while she "continued screaming" and "brutally dragged" her while "kicking" her in her "chest, stomach and pelvis area." (ANI)
