Dimple accuses Union Ministers of spitting communal venom during rallies
Jaunpur (Uttar Pradesh) [India], Feb. 26 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadava's wife Dimple Yadav on Sunday accused the Union Ministers of spitting communal venom, while appealing the people to ensure the Samajwadi Party's win in the assembly polls. "The frustration level of opponent parties has increased. Their language has changed. The Union Ministers are spitting venom while addressing rallies and speeches. They are politicizing the issue of caste and religion," Dimple said while addressing a rally here. Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Dimple said the former is doing 'Mann Ki Baat' for last three years which only includes discrimination and caste-religion. "He (Prime Minister) is doing 'Mann Ki Baat for last three years. His monthly radio address only includes discrimination, caste-religion, Diwali-Ramzan," she said. Echoing similar views, Akhilesh Yadav while addressing rally in Sidharthnagar yesterday taunted Prime Minister Modi over his monthly radio address 'Mann ki Baat' and requested him to do bit of 'Kaam ki Baat'. Continuing his tirade against the opposition, Akhilesh said that Prime Minister Modi must have given gas stoves to needy but has also increased the cylinders price in last three years in his governance. Elaborate arrangements are being put in place for tomorrow's fifth phase of assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. 51 constituencies, spread over 11 districts in Terai and eastern part of the state, will go to polls in this phase. The districts are Balrampur, Gonda, Faizabad, Ambedkar Nagar, Bahraich, Shravasti, Siddharth Nagar, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Amethi and Sultanpur. Polling for Alapur Assembly seat was postponed till the 9th of next month following the death of a Samajwadi Party candidate. (ANI)
