Patna (Bihar) [India], June 25 (ANI): LJP Ram Vilas MP Arun Bharti attacked the internal democracy in the RJD after Lalu Yadav filed his nomination for party president, alleging dictatorship and nepotism in the party.
"Tejashwi Yadav talks about internal democracy, but there can be no better example than this, where there is no democracy but dictatorship and nepotism in his party. When Baba Saheb's picture was placed near Lalu's feet, it was said that his health was not well, but at the time of nomination, his health became fine," Bharti told ANI.
Earlier, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Monday called his father Lalu Prasad Yadav "Messiah of the poor" after he filed his nomination for the post of national president, marking his 13th term in the position.
Yadav said that all party workers and leaders are delighted and hope that the party will taste success under the leadership of his father in the future.
"Messiah of the poor, Lalu ji filed his nomination for the post of national president of RJD today. There is immense joy among people. Workers of the party, leaders, and others are expressing their happiness over the nomination of Lalu Ji. He has completed 12 terms as the party's national president. This will be his 13th term. We are all delighted. We believe that we will taste success under the leadership of Lalu ji in the time to come," Bihar's former Deputy CM said.
RJD is holding party polls of its national council and state executive. Polling will be on July 5.
Lalu is set to become the party chief for the 13th time. He has been the RJD chief for 28 years, ever since the party was formed in 1997 after the split in the old Janata Dal.
The assembly election in Bihar is due this year. (ANI)

“Govt must clarify LPG reserves, supply timelines to public

"The government should clarify - what is the amount of reserves in our country presently, how much is left, how much can be consumed over how many days, and by when are they expecting that the LPG supply would be normalised. I believe the government is having talks; the people of this nation also need to be told about the current situation. If there is a crisis of energy, then by when the government plans to resolve it should also be clarified to the people, especially to the common man," he said.
