Delhi: Telangana Tourism Dept. organizes road show

New Delhi [India] Mar. 7 (ANI): The Telangana Tourism organized a road-show here yesterday, in order to promote places ideal for sightseeing in the state, in which travel agents, tour operators, travel writers besides print and electronic media participated. A statement issued by the Telangana Tourism here said that the show demonstrated fascinating fusion of history and modernity, with enchanting eco-destinations for exhilarating weekends, marvelous heritage experience with blissful environs and architectural wonders of tourist destinations. Telangana offers to an avid traveler a vast range of tourism landscapes including heritage, archaeology, religion, wildlife / ecotourism and handicrafts, the statement added. The department has introduced new package tours to fit the specific needs of tourists which were designed taking into consideration the requirements of the tourists and Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) would help plan the entire itinerary providing a seamless tour experience. Services offered in the package include transport, accommodation and sightseeing. TSTDC is organizing adventure clubs at Bhongir Fort for rock climbing activities and trekking, and adventure jeep ride into the forest at Kawal Wildlife Sanctuary, Jannaram in Adilabad District. (ANI)
