New Delhi [India], December 9 (ANI): Following AAP's decision to field Manish Sisodia from Jangpura, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Impreet Singh Bakshi criticised the move on Monday, stating that the people know Sisodia more as a "liquor mafia" than a teacher as an attempt was made to push the youth and women towards alcohol by luring them with one plus one.

Speaking to ANI, Bakshi slammed Sisodia and said, "Liquor shops were opened outside churches, the way an attempt was made to push the youth into addiction, what does he (Manish) think after all this, how will he be able to face the public, how will he be able to face the women of the area, the youth?"
"People know him more as a liquor mafia than a teacher and the way Manish Sisodia made the liquor policy of Delhi, liquor shops were opened outside every RWA and an attempt was made to push the youth and women of Delhi towards alcohol by luring them with one plus one. This is very condemnable," the BJP leader added.
Meanwhile, the AAP released its second list of 20 candidates on Monday for Delhi Assembly polls.
The AAP released its second list of 20 candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections on Monday, which included the decision to field Sisodia from Jangpura instead of his previous seat in Patparganj. Awadh Ojha has been nominated to contest from Patparganj.

The Assembly polls in Delhi are expected to be held in early 2025. AAP won 62 out of the 70 seats in the 2020 assembly elections and BJP secured eighth seats. (ANI)
