Delhi Metro porn shocker: DMRC identifying three accused
New Delhi [India], Apr. 15 (ANI): The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) is in the process of identifying three men accused of playing a porn clip at the Rajiv Chowk metro station screen, through their mobiles on the TV installed at the station. "From the preliminary investigation, it is established that the incident is of April 9 at around 5 p.m. The LED TV system was under commissioning and wi-fi port was accessible," DMRC spokesperson Anuj Dayal said. He added as per the CCTV footage, three men ran the porn clip through their mobile phones on the TV at Rajiv Chowk station. "Attempts are being made to identify these men. The footage is under examination to identify the culprits," he said. Dayal further asserted that this sort of interference with the system will not be possible in the future once the software is programmed and centrally controlled. "In the interim, during the commissioning process itself the contractor will be advised to ensure password protection," he added. Earlier today, the DMRC released a statement over the porn video clip that was played on an LED screen at the Rajiv Chowk metro station near Connaught Place in Delhi, saying that it was not aware about this clip and the screen was under commissioning and testing. "The DMRC is not aware about this clip. However, this LED screen was under commissioning and testing by a private contractor and same is still under commissioning. The work is still not completed. We will check all the details of the testing and commissioning process of the contractor to check whether any such clip was played on the LED screen at Rajiv Chowk station and take adequate safeguards/ action," DMRC spokesperson Dayal said in a statement. Some metro commuters shot the entire sequence on mobile phone and the incident has become viral on social media. According to sources, an incident like this did happen on April 9 as well, it was an advertisement board or screen which is being given on contract, not a Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) screen.
