Delhi government is a government only of drama: BJP
Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Nov. 16 (ANI): Lambasting Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's statement in the Delhi assembly on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has said that Delhi government is a government only of drama. "I don't want to comment on people who are trying to play to the gallery at the time when national interest is above all. If people do not understand that the parallel economy is out to destabilise India when it comes to the terror link, when it comes to corruption, when it comes to drug mafia, and, I think, if they understand the fundamentals, nobody would oppose and people would welcome," BJP leader Shaina NC told ANI. "If you are only playing petty politics, you are thinking of your selfish interest and not the country," she added. She said that if we view the whole demonetisation issue, it combats corruption, it combats terror, and it does away with the drug mafia. "For those who are disrupting for the heck of disrupting, I would only like to say think of national interest first and your selfish interest later, said Shaina NC. The BJP leader said she sympathises with people who have been waiting for four to five hours and understands their inconvenience, but at the same time, also salutes such people because they understand the national spirit for creating a better India and a more positive democracy which is corruption free. "I think that this measure which is being contemplated by the government will only be a step in the direction to ensure that there are no perpetrators who are trying to make a quick buck out of a situation which is being given to people in good faith and trust," she said.
