New Delhi [India], September 22 (ANI): Citing dialogues from Shah Rukh Khan's latest Bollywood movie 'Jawan', Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said that it is only Aam Admi Party that asks for votes from the public over promises made to people on education and health.
Addressing a public meeting in the Bijwasan Assembly, Arvind Kejriwal said," There is dialogue from Shah Rukh Khan's film Jawan which says that votes should not be given on the basis of religion and caste, instead ask them (political parties) if they would give good education and medical care. Only AAP asks for votes on the promise of providing education to their children. Since independence, no party came to the public with promises for good education, Mohalla clinic."
"We are here to serve the country. I want India to become the number one country. There is a lot of money available in our country, if corruption stops, development can take place," he added.
Earlier Arvind Kejriwal on Monday urged the voters to uproot the Bharatiya Janata Party government and Congress from Madhya Pradesh.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday appealed to the people to give the Aam Admi Party (AAP) a chance to form the government, ensuring that his party will spend every penny of the government on the public.
"In Madhya Pradesh, there are two parties. This time you people uproot these parties and give one chance to AAP. I challenge you, you will forget both of these parties," AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal said while addressing a rally in Rewa.
The film Jawan was released worldwide in theatres on September 7th, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
In 'Jawan', SRK shares screen space with Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone among others. (ANI)
