Delhi: Chhattisgarh, Mizoram governors meet PM Modi

New Delhi [India], Nov 24 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi met governors of Chattisgarh and Mizoram in two different engagements on Sunday in New Delhi.
Chattisgarh Governor Anusuiya Uikey met with Prime Minister Modi and held discussions in the national capital.
PS Sreedharan Pillai, Governor of Mizoram also called on the Prime Minister today.
Both the governors were in Delhi to take part in the two-day-long Governors' conference held at Rashtrapati Bhawan.
The conference was concluded on Sunday after President Kovind addressed the conference and gave a call for making the governors' offices more approachable for the public.
President Ram Nath Kovind on Sunday suggested that Governors and Lieutenant Governors should make their Raj Bhavans more interactive and accessible to the common people.
During the 50th Conference of Governors at Rashtrapati Bhavan here, President Kovind urged them to make conscious efforts to dispel colonial-era public perceptions of inaccessibility to the Raj Bhavans.
Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah also participated in the conference. (ANI)
