Delhi: CBI arrests sub-inspector for accepting bribe of Rs.10, 000

New Delhi [India] Feb. 17 (ANI): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday arrested a sub-inspector posted at the Janakpuri Police Station for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs.10, 000 from the complainant.

Delhi: CBI arrests sub-inspector for accepting bribe of Rs.10, 000
New Delhi [India] Feb. 17 (ANI): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday arrested a sub-inspector posted at the Janakpuri Police Station for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs.10, 000 from the complainant. A case was registered on a complaint that a sub-inspector of the Delhi Police was demanding a bribe of Rs. 15,000 for favouring the complainant in a case being investigated by her. After registration of the case, a trap was laid and the accused was caught while accepting the bribe. Searches have been conducted at the premises of the accused. (ANI)
