The 72 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organised a free medical camp on Thursday in Jamola, a remote hilly area of Rajouri. Jitendra Singh Yadav, the Commanding Officer of the 72 Battalion CRPF, stated, "This medical camp has been organised by the 72 Battalion. We have organised these camps in other places also, because this is a very remote area, and people might not get the proper medical facilities."

One crore Indians are in Gulf countries, and we are concerned about their safety and livelihood. War has created hardship for them. We want the government to take proactive measures," he told ANI.

"He (Farooq Abdullah) was attending a function. We were all with them. The people who were with Doctor Sahib's (Farooq Abdullah) security people caught him in a moment, made him fall, pressed him, and, with great difficulty, we took the pistol from him. Then we left from there and came back home," Jan told ANI.

The accused have been identified as Mohammed Syeed Uddin (26), Mohd Tajuddin (31), Mohd Younis (25), and MD Ayub (24). Police said that Uddin had worked for a call centre in Dubai, and contacted other members to acquire some SIM cards.
