DC Kulgam extends financial aid among militancy affected families

Kulgam (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Jan. 4 (ANI): Deputy Commissioner of Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, on Wednesday distributed Rs. 11,25,750 among 87 militancy affected families in a function organized by Social Welfare Department in Kulgam.

DC Kulgam extends financial aid among militancy affected families
Kulgam (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Jan. 4 (ANI): Deputy Commissioner of Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, on Wednesday distributed Rs. 11,25,750 among 87 militancy affected families in a function organized by Social Welfare Department in Kulgam. The assistance has been provided under the ASSIST programme sponsored by National Council for Communal Harmony, Government of India. Speaking on the occasion, Bhatt said that district administration will take every possible step for the welfare of militancy affected families. It was said that the Government has embarked on direct benefit transfer where in assistance would be directly transferred to bank accounts of beneficiaries. (ANI)
