Hassan (Karnataka) [India], Mar 24 (ANI): JDS MLA Shivaling Gowda on Saturday attacked BJP supporters for raising slogans in favour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Crush the jaws of those who come and shout--Modi-Modi,” said Gowda, while addressing a public gathering at Arsikere.
Attacking PM Modi, Gowda said: “Has someone got Rs 15 lakh in his account as Modi promised in 2014? You should ask this when the BJP leaders come to you.”
JDS is fighting the ensuing Lok Sabha polls in alliance with the Congress.
Karnataka will go to polls during the second and third phases of Lok Sabha election on April 18 and April 23, respectively. The counting of votes will take place on May 23. (ANI)
