CRPF donates furniture to Kashmiri students
Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], Nov.30 (ANI): To help students study with ease and comfort, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has donated classroom furniture to the Hindu High School at Kralkhud near Srinagar. The CRPF is deployed to maintain law and order in the Kashmir Valley, but they also take part in civic action programmes for the people of Kashmir Valley. The 132 Battalion of paramilitary CRPF made the donation of classroom chairs. "These are chairs along with an attached dais for the students. They are 48 in number. After the 2014 floods, the entire furniture was damaged. Students were badly in need of furniture, now they can study with ease," said the Principal of the Hindu High School, Sheital Nath. "We received chairs along with desks and are very happy and thankful to the CRPF for such a great act. These CRPF soldiers are our saviours and now we can study, which will benefit us a lot," said Muskan Sajad, a student. (ANI)
