Congress wants to create "instability, anarchy" in country, has followed policy of "divide and rule": PM Modi

Neemuch (Madhya Pradesh) [India], November 9 (ANI): In a hard-hitting attack on Congress in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday accused it of trying to create "instability and anarchy" and practicing "policy of divide and rule".
Addressing a rally here, PM Modi alleged that Congress is unable to digest a strong BJP-led government at the Centre.
He alleged that Congress now stands with those foreign people who conspire against the country.
"You elected the strong BJP Government that makes tough and big decisions in the national interest. Congress has been unable to digest this for the past 10 years. They are unable to digest that how is Modi able to work - the Modi whom they abuse day and night. So, Congress wants to spread instability and anarchy in the country. For this, it has struck secret deals. Congress can be seen standing with people abroad who openly conspire against India," PM Modi said.
He said "Congress is cheating the soil" of Rajasthan which has a tradition of patriotism.
"In the greed for power, Congress has always divided the society. It has followed policy of divide and rule. With the bad policies of Congress, there was an era of terrorism and anarchy in the country. The sense of nation-building which was there at the time of independence was crushed by the Congress in one family worship. Be it at the Centre or in states - Congress Government always made new records of corruption. Due to this mindset of Congress, they are being wiped out of several states one after the other," PM Modi said.
He alleged that Congress knows how to create problems while BJP finds solutions.
"BJP is working for a better India. BJP is working on the mantra of development of the country through development of the states. When Congress was in government, the country saw 2G scam. Today, during the tenure of BJP, the country is moving forward at the speed of 5G. India's digital revolution is discussed all over the world."
PM Modi's campaign in the state has given a boost to the BJP campaign. Congress is seeking to oust the BJP government from power in Madhya Pradesh.
Madhya Pradesh will go to the polls on November 17 for its 230 assembly seats. Counting of votes will take place on December 3 along with that in four other states. (ANI)
