New Delhi [India], October 6 (ANI): After the exit polls projection, Delhi Congress President Devender Yadav expressed faith in making a strong government in the state adding that in Jammu and Kashmir, the Congress will form a coalition government.
"There is a good atmosphere in Haryana and I have full faith that we will make a strong government in Haryana. In J&K we will form a coalition government," he said.
Congress candidate from the Ladwa assembly constituency, Mewa Singh took a dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said that people's anger has come out against the BJP in the form of votes.
"People of the state were in distress during BJP's rule of corruption, inflation, law and order situation and unemployment...There is anger among the people and that anger has come out in the form of votes against the BJP," Singh told ANI.

Meanwhile, BJP leader Shaina NC dismissed the exit polls and said that the mandate is given by the people.
"BJP will be forming the government in Haryana. Various schemes were implemented by the government for the benefit of the public...The mandate is given by the people, not by exit polls," she said.

RJD MP Misa Bharti welcomed the exit polls projection and said that an INDIA alliance government will be formed in Haryana and J-K.
"The exit poll says that the INDIA alliance will be formed, the government of the people will be formed and not the BJP," she said.
This comes after the exit polls predicted a clean sweep for the Congress in Haryana, with some polls predicting the party will win more than 50 of the 90 seats in the assembly.
Notably, the Axis My India has predicted a hung assembly in Jammu and Kashmir with the National Conference-Congress alliance slightly ahead and the BJP tailgating the opposition.
According to Axis My India, the NC-Congress alliance can win 35-45 seats whereas the BJP can win 24-34 seats. Notably, the majority mark to form the government in the Union Territory is 46 and the prediction has shown no one above the mark.
The single-phase polling for 90 Assembly Constituencies in Haryana concluded peacefully on Saturday across more than 20,000 polling stations and recorded a final voter turnout of 65.65 per cent.
Jammu and Kashmir went to polls in three phases on September 18, September 25 and October 1.
The results of the assembly elections will be declared on October 8 for both the states. (ANI)
