Faridabad (Haryana) [India], October 2 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday accused the Congress of snatching the lands of farmers in Haryana and lending them to "big capitalists and Congress's son-in-law" (Robert Vadra) during their regime.
Addressing the public meeting in Faridabad, the Chief Minister appealed to the people to vote in favour of BJP in a public meeting organised in favour of BJP candidate Satish Fagna ji in Faridabad, Haryana.
CM Dhami said that in the last 10 years, under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Haryana government has set many records.
"Haryana has reached the pinnacle of heights socially and economically. Be it the field of health or education, health, connectivity, many development works have been done in Haryana in 10 years. The double-engine government has increased the railway budget of Haryana 10 times from Rs 300 crore to Rs 3000 crore," he said.

Dhami said that during the tenure of the double-engine government, two projects connecting East Faridabad to West Faridabad have been approved at a cost of Rs1530 crore.
"Faridabad railway station is being equipped with modern facilities. The construction work of the bus terminal has been completed. Faridabad has been gifted 50 new electric buses," he added.
Chief Minister Dhami said that today people in Haryana are realising that the double-engine government has worked for the upliftment of the people in the last 10 years.
"Free gas connection has been provided to 24 lakh families and gas connection has been provided to 50 lakh people for Rs 500. The double-engine government has worked to change the lives of the people. Schemes like Garib Kalyan Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Kisan Samman Nidhi, and Lakhpati Didi are proving to be a boon for the people," he added.
The Uttarakhand CM said that on the one hand, the BJP government under the leadership of PM Modi is working to take development to new heights, while on the other hand, there is the Congress party, which is stuck in casteism, regionalism and corruption.
"Before 2014, jobs in Haryana were not given on the basis of talent, merit and ability but due to the system of parchi-kharchi, nepotism and casteism, which the BJP has worked to change into transparency," he added.

He said that during the rule of Congress, the land of farmers was snatched and "distributed as charity to big capitalists and Congress's son-in-law."
"At that time, the entire system was neck-deep in corruption and bribery. No action was taken against dozens of officers of Haryana against whom cases of disproportionate assets were registered because at that time corruption was rampant from top to bottom," he said.
Dhami said that the BJP has established the rule of law in Haryana. In the last 10 years, the government has been running with honesty and transparency.
He said that after Congress comes to power, the game of brokerage, bribery, and corruption will start again. Atrocities will start on women and Dalits.
CM Dhami said that the Congress, which made big promises of jobs in Himachal Pradesh, does not even have money to pay the salaries of the employees. In whichever state the Congress government was formed, its treasury became completely empty.
He said that parties like the Aam Aadmi Party and JJP are vote-cutter parties. Every time the Aam Aadmi Party blames Haryana for Delhi's pollution.
CM Dhami said that the public will not let the beautiful dreams of Congress's Mungeri Lal come true. "The BJP has worked to change the fate and picture of Haryana," he said.
Haryana will go to the polls on October 5 to elect its 90-member state legislative assembly, with the results set to be announced on October 8. In the 2019 elections, the BJP emerged as the single largest party, winning 40 seats, while Congress secured 30 seats. (ANI)
