Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], October 4 (ANI): A day after Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan flagged off the trial run of the Bhopal Metro train, Congress accused him of trying to take credit for a project for which foundation stone was laid by Kamal Nath when he was the Chief Minister.
Party leader Surendra Rajput said the BJP is trying to take credit for the project by presenting it as their achievement.
"CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan should be named PR Singh Chouhan as he makes big claims. The foundation stone of the metro project was laid by former CM Kamal Nath but now they are misrepresenting it as their achievement. This shows that the BJP tells lies," Rajput said.
He also accused the BJP of misguiding people of the Women's Reservation Act.
"No one knows when it will be implemented. BJP gives post-dated cheques. The same policy is being adopted by Shivraj Chouhan," Rajput added.
He said OBC women should get reservations under the Women's Reservation Act and it should be implemented immediately.
Chouhan on Tuesday flagged off the trial run of the Bhopal Metro train at Subhash Nagar in Bhopal. The Chief Minister also took a ride on the metro train.
Madhya Pradesh is among five states which will face assembly polls later this year. (ANI)
