Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) [India], January 7 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh BJP President Dr Rajeev Bindal claimed on Sunday that the Congress government seems to be "completely irritated" by the successful visit of the BJP national president JP Nadda to the state.
"People of Himachal Pradesh came in large numbers from Solan, Sirmaur, Shimla, and Mahasu and have participated in two programs under the Shimla constituency. This clearly shows the enthusiasm of the workers in Himachal Pradesh. Congress-led state government seems to be completely irritated by the visit of JP Nadda," Rajeev Bindal said.
Stating that the political environment has witnessed a big shift in favour of the BJP recently, Bindal exuded confidence that the BJP will register victories on all four Lok Sabha seats in the upcoming general elections.
"BJP will achieve victories by huge margins in all four Lok Sabha seats of the state. PM Modi always understood the pain of Himachal Pradesh. He approved the construction work of 11,000 houses in Himachal Pradesh and also fully deployed SDRF and NDRF in disaster work," the Himachal BJP chief said.
Pointing out that the Chief Minister Sukhu-led Congress government has failed on every front in the state, Bindal said, "The state government is continuously doing injustice to the people. Instead of providing relief, it is only trying to put the burden on them. The state government has proved to be a failure on every front."
He further stated that the Himachal government has yet to fulfil promises it made to the public in its first cabinet meeting.
"Women are not getting Rs 1,500 per month, unemployed people did not get jobs. All this shows the true condition of the Congress government," the state BJP chief said.
Earlier, the BJP chief held a mega roadshow in Himachal Pradesh's Solan district on Friday.
Himachal Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Rajiv Bindal also attended the core state party unit meeting, which was presided over by JP Nadda. The meeting was held to review the preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. (ANI)
