Mira Bhayander (Maharashtra) [India], November 17 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma launched an all-out attack on the Congress party as he commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
Addressing a press conference in Maharashtra's Mira Bhyander on Saturday, he commended the development of the country under PM Modi's leadership and said India witnessed an extraordinary transformation since 2014.
He further pointed out that Modi's government not only eradicated terrorism and Naxalism but also brought about significant development and welfare schemes for the poor.
Speaking at the Mira Bhayander conference, he stated that during Congress's long tenure, the country was plagued by widespread corruption and terrorist attacks.
"During Congress rule, we read about such heart-breaking terrorist incidents that our newspapers were soaked with tears," he said.
CM Sharma exuded confidence that the BJP will continue to rule the nation for many years to come and that people will no longer be duped by the Congress party's corruption and false promises.
He claimed that Congress is no longer able to influence the people by its employment of lies, corruption, and appeasement politics. He highlighted the BJP government's accomplishments, claiming that every promise made by Prime Minister Modi in 2014 had been fulfilled by 2019 and that all promises made in 2019 were accomplished by 2023.
He reassured the nation that the Mahayuti alliance government in Maharashtra would also keep all of its promises.
The Chief Minister also appreciated the contributions of the Rajasthan community, which has worked hard to achieve distinguished success in Maharashtra. He invited the community to attend the 'Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit', which will be held from December 9 to 11, 2024 and encouraged them to invest in Rajasthan to strengthen their ties with the state.
Given the Maharashtra election, Sharma urged people to support the Mahayuti candidates. "All of you are requested to make your contacts aware of the achievements of the BJP government and urge them to press the lotus button in the elections," he said.
The event was attended by Rajsamand MLA Deepti Kiran Maheshwari, Ahore MLA Chhagan Singh Rajpurohit, senior BJP leaders, and a large number of Rajasthani community members.
Voting for the 288-member Maharashtra assembly will be held on November 20 and votes will be counted on November 23. (ANI)
