"Congress, RJD wants to bring...": Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath

East Champaran (Bihar) [India], May 23 (ANI): In a scathing attack on Opposition, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Thursday that Congress and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) want to bring 'Taliban rule' in the country.
Yogi Adityanath made these remarks during an election rally at Motihari, supporting former Union Minister Radha Mohan Singh, the party candidate for the East Champaran Lok Sabha seat.
Cautioning people against the opposition's agenda, CM Yogi said, "Under such a regime, daughters would be deprived of education, women would be restricted from going to markets, and they would be forced to wear burqas."
"The INDI alliance's manifesto includes a provision for granting Muslims the freedom to choose their food and drink, implying that it seeks to allow Muslims to consume beef. This would provoke anger among Hindus, who revere the cow as a sacred entity," he added.
The Uttar Pradesh CM questioned the public on whether they would permit cow slaughter, urging them not to endorse this by voting for the Congress and RJD.
Adityanath also criticized the 'inheritance tax' proposed in the Congress manifesto, comparing it to the 'Jizya tax' of the INDI alliance and claiming it reflects the oppressive spirit of Aurangzeb, who infamously imprisoned and tortured his father.
"The Modi wave has transformed into a nationwide tsunami, with a unified call for "Fir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar" (Modi government once again) and "Abki Baar 400 Paar" (This time, crossing 400 seats)," CM Yogi said.
"The RJD and Congress feel uneasy when they hear the slogan "Abki Baar 400 Paar," as they are not contesting 400 seats together," he added.
Yogi stated that people across the country are expressing their desire for a devotee of Lord Ram to rule in Delhi, adding, "Jo Ram Ko Laye Hain, Hum Unko Layenge" (We will bring those who brought Ram).
Sharpening his attacks on the opposition, the CM said, "Their rule fostered hooliganism, looting, and violence, leading to Bihar's infamy, widespread hunger among the poor, farmer suicides, and youth migration."
The Chief Minister pointed out that terrorist incidents were frequent during the Congress and RJD regimes, whereas today, under Modi's leadership, terrorists have been eradicated. (ANI)
