"Congress neither made any tribal CM in MP nor President or PM of the country": CM Mohan Yadav

"Unfortunately I have to say that the Congress government was in power for 55-60 years, but they neither made any tribal chief minister in Madhya Pradesh nor the President or the Prime Minister of the country. If anyone has this sin and stigma, it is the Congress. Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made tribal sister Droupadi Murmu, the President of the country," the CM said.

Balaghat (Madhya Pradesh) [India], April 12 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Friday hit out at the Congress, accusing them of doing nothing for the tribals when they were in power for 55-60 years.
CM Yadav remarked while addressing a public gathering in Ukwa village, Baihar assembly constituency in Balaghat district. He arrived here to campaign in support of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Bharti Pardhi.
He also said, "A Congress leader insulted the tribals and said that the tribals can be made but their body colour is black. You insult them, neither give them any position nor give respect, this is the character of Congressmen."
The chief minister further continued slamming the Congress party saying that they consider women as objects of luxury and their language puts women to shame.
"Now the festival of Navratri is going on, we worship our mothers and sisters and we worship Shakti. We have faith and feelings in them. We always pay our respects to our mothers and sisters by bowing down our heads. This is the culture of the BJP. On the contrary, Congress people consider mothers and sisters as objects of luxury. Their language puts mothers and sisters to shame and lowers their respect," he added.
Balaghat will go to poll in the first phase on April 19 with five other parliamentary seats in the state.
Lok Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh will be conducted in four phases. The first phase of polling will be held on April 19, followed by April 26, May 7 and May 13. (ANI)
