Congress MP from Manipur says he intends to take care of interests of his state, take part in national affairs

New Delhi [India], June 9 (ANI): Newly elected Congress MP from Manipur Dr Angomcha Bimol said that he intends to take care of the interests of his state and also take part in national e affairs.
Dr Angomcha Bimol said, "It is a privilege to be Member of Parliament of the largest democracy in the world. I intend to take care of the interests of my state as much as I take part in the affairs of the country. I am looking forward to it."
He collected his ID Card, Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) from the Parliament on Sunday.
Angomcha Bimol Akoijam of the Indian National Congress won from Inner Manipur by 109801 votes in the Lok Sabha polls. He defeated Thounaojam Basanta Kumar Singh of the BJP.
TMC MP Mahua Moitra, Samajwadi Party MP Awadhesh Prasad, Independent MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav and BJP MP Tejasvi Surya also collected their ID Card, CGHS from the Parliament.
In Manipur Congress won both Inner Manipur and Outer Manipur Lok Sabha seats. (ANI)
