New Delhi [India] October 3 (ANI): Congress held a meeting of its screening committee for Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday to decide candidates for assembly polls in the state.
BJP has already declared two lists of candidates in Madhya Pradesh.  The second list had several BJP heavyweights in the state including  Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar and Prahlad Singh Patel and Faggan Singh Kulaste. AAP has also declared its candidates on some seats in the state.
Congress is seeking to oust the BJP from power in Madhya Pradesh.  Party leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have addressed rallies in the state.
The recommendations made by the screening committee will be placed before the Congress Central Election Committee, which will make the final decision on candidates.       
Of the five states going to polls at the end of this year, BJP is in power in Madhya Pradesh.  (ANI)
